Planning Your Mobility

Questions Erasmus+ Coordinators Frequently Ask.

Planning an international mobility involves many decisions. These are some of the questions we receive most often from schools, VET providers and educational institutions considering an aviation mobility in Malta.

Contact Our Team

Yes. Every mobility is planned with the sending institution and adapted to the participant profile, preferred duration, educational priorities and approved Erasmus+ project. The final structure is shaped around your institution rather than a fixed package.

Activities may focus on areas such as airport operations, flight operations, aircraft maintenance, aviation safety, technical workshops, professional visits and cultural experiences. The combination depends on the learners, the mobility format and the objectives agreed with your institution.

Safeer coordinates the local operational delivery, including host organisations, accommodation, transport, participant support and relevant mobility documentation. Your institution remains responsible for the educational decisions and management of its Erasmus+ project.

The duration depends on the Erasmus+ action, participant profile and intended format. Some group experiences last only a few days, while individual placements may continue for several weeks or months. We help identify a realistic structure during planning.

For group mobility, beginning around three to four months before departure generally allows enough time for coordination and participant arrangements. Shorter lead times may still be possible depending on group size, dates and host availability.

The sending institution remains the Erasmus+ beneficiary and academic decision-maker. Safeer acts as the operational mobility partner, supporting the planning and local implementation of the agreed activities in Malta.
