What are KA121 and KA122, in plain terms.
Both are Erasmus+ funding lines that pay for groups of learners and staff to undertake work placements, training or job shadowing abroad.
An annual budget, planned in advance
KA121 is awarded to organisations that already hold an Erasmus+ accreditation. Rather than applying project by project, you receive a yearly allocation and plan multiple flows across the year against it.

A one-off grant, project by project
KA122 is a single project grant for organisations not yet accredited. You apply, run one project, then either reapply for another or work toward full accreditation and move to KA121.

- Action
- KA121 supports accredited mobility projects; KA122 supports short-term projects for eligible organisations without Erasmus accreditation. Both fall under Erasmus+ Key Action 1.

Not a National Agency sub-contractor
Safeer is a private receiving organisation, not appointed or audited by any National Agency. The legal beneficiary is always your institution.
Not a substitute for academic recognition
ECVET/ECTS validation, Europass issuance approvals and recognition decisions remain with the sending institution. We supply the structured evidence pack that supports those decisions.
Not a hands-off broker
Safeer retains direct accountability for host vetting, accommodation standards and learner welfare in every destination. Where we work with local partners, they operate to our quality framework and under our supervision. Your coordinator deals with Safeer throughout, not a chain of intermediaries.
